Bhubaneswar: The state cabinet approved a tender of Rs 158 crore for construction of a high-level bridge over river Kathajodi on the upstream side of existing Subash Chandra Bose Setu for direct link from Cuttack city to Bhubaneswar. The work is targeted for completion within 36 months. The cabinet also gave its nod for s Shree Ambica Cotspin’s proposal to establish a yarn manufacturing (spinning) unit in Balangir district by investing Rs 124 crore. This project marks a critical step in the state’s strategy to promote industrial activities in the KBK region and aspirational districts, the govt said.
