Koraput: Chairperson of Odisha State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (OSCPCR), Babita Patra, on Thursday reviewed child development and nutrition services in Kotia panchayat under Pottangi block. During her visit to the disputed Kotia region, Patra assessed the implementation of various govt schemes focused on child welfare and maternal health. Interacting with local women, she highlighted the importance of proper care for pregnant and lactating mothers and the need to ensure balanced nutrition for children. As part of her visit, she inspected anganwadi centres to review infrastructure and facilities being extended to children. She underscored that no child in the region should be deprived of education.
