Bhubaneswar: Chief secretary Anu Garg on Wednesday conducted a secretary-level meeting to review important work executed by different departments. The Koraput collector made a presentation highlighting innovative approaches, institutional improvements and sustainable development of the district. Garg highlighted best works by different departments like skill development department’s top performance in India Skills-2025-26. Odisha cadre IAS probationers (2024 batch) also attended the meeting to gain experience. In the meeting, a design for the forthcoming ‘Uplabdhi Portal’ was presented by CMGI. This portal will enable monthly uploading of notable works, progress and achievements of various departments and will facilitate easy monitoring at the departmental level as well as at the chief minister’s office level.The meeting also discussed the organisation of Koraput’s ‘Parab’ festival and the overall development of the district. Special emphasis was also placed on prioritising and accelerating industrial development in the district, said the official sources.
