Kendrapada: A 27-year-old man drowned in the Devi river near Sukida village under Balikuda police station limits in Jagatsinghpur district on Friday while fishing with three friends. The three others were rescued by locals. The deceased, Sangram Parida (27) of Sukinda village, reportedly slipped into a deep stretch of the river and was swept away by the strong current.
