Berhampur: The Gajapati police have seized over three tonnes of ganja worth around Rs 3 crore, which were buried in underground pits and hidden inside hill caves in different forest areas, police said on Tuesday.While 2,010 kg cannabis valued over Rs 2 crore was found in an underground pit at Vimanpur under R.Udayagiri police station limits on Monday, police had seized ganja weighing 1,054 kg, valued over Rs 1 crore, concealed in the hill-cave in a hilltop area near Guduripanka village under Adava police station limits on Sunday. Acting on a tip-off, police teams, led by SDPO R.Udayagiri Rakesh Kumar Sahoo raided the areas in the last two days. “No one was arrested during the raids as no one came forward to claim the marijuana,” he said.
