Puri: The body of unidentified man was found floating in an open drain in Puri on Thursday morning. After spotting the body, the local residents informed police, which reached the spot and, recovered the body with the help of fire services personnel. The body was sent to Puri District Headquarters Hospital for postmortem.According to IIC, Kumbharpada police station, Bijay Behera, they are investigating where the man was from and how he fell into the drain.With lakhs of devotees expected to visit Puri during the upcoming Rath Yatra, locals have urged authorities to take immediate action to prevent further mishaps.
