Bhubaneswar: State Selection Board (SSB) on Wednesday announced the schedule for Common Postgraduate Entrance Test (CPET) 2026, with examinations slated to be held from May 5 to 16 across the state.The entrance test, to be conducted for admissions to 50 postgraduate subjects, will be held in two sittings each day. The morning session is scheduled from 10 am to 11:40 am, while the afternoon session will take place from 3 pm to 4:40 pm, the department notified on Wednesday. On May 5, candidates for commerce, biotechnology, sociology, environmental science, education and anthropology (arts) will take the examination. According to official data, 58,708 candidates have applied for 31,915 postgraduate seats. The SSB said admit cards will be available for download from April 30 on its official website. Candidates have also been advised to download their hall tickets from the SSB portal well in advance.
