KUU student tops Joint Admission Test in geology

Berhampur: Hrushikesh Nahak (20), a Plus-III student of Khallikote Unitary University (KUU), Berhampur, has secured first rank in the country in geology in Joint Admission Test (JAM)-2026.The JAM-2026 examination was conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, on Feb 15 for admission to Master of Science programmes offered by IIT and other participating institutes across the country in seven subjects, including geology. The IIT-Bombay on Thursday released the toppers’ list of JAM-2026, including of physics, chemistry, mathematics, biotechnology, economics and mathematical statistics. Congratulating Nahak, the head of the geology department in KUU, Manoj Kumar Patnaik, said it was a proud moment for them.
