Kidambi Srikanth and PV Sindhu were adjudged the best badminton player in All-Out Sponsored Mahindra Scorpio Times of India Sports Awards (TOISA). But these two players have brought Indian badminton to new heights in the past few years. So that program held in Mumbai on Monday, these players were selected as the best player of the year.

Thus both the players achieved big success in 2017. Above all likes of Abhinav Bindra, Baichung Bhutia, Devendra Jhajaria, Rit Abraham and Gautam Gambhir, the Chief Editor of Times Internet Limited, Rajesh Kalra, the Jury, selected these players. Srikanth is currently on the third spot in the men’s badminton ranking. While Srikanth achieved the position which no Indian Badminton player had achieved before him. He won four SuperSeries titles last year. This was the best performance by any Indian. Thus he became the world’s second-largest player too.

After winning the Silver Medal in Rio Olympics 2016, Sindhu continued her good performance. He won two Superseries titles in 2017. He did the Silver Medal in Badminton World Superseries and BWF World Superseries final.
