We all love eating sweets. But do we know it leads us to death? Though it tastes sweet to your senses. But it is actually very bitter for the body.

It no doubts make you feel good due to the beta-endorphin rush in the brain. But actually is very bad for the immune system in the long run.

 ‘Sugar’, acts like a poison for the human body, if not consumed in a controlled manner.

It must be noticed that In 1890, only 3 people out of 100,000 had diabetes. But in 2015, almost 8,000 out of every 100,000 people was diagnosed with diabetes!

It has a wide range of harmful effects on our body Right from causing cancer to reduce tissue elasticity. These sweet crystal cubes are the source of many health issues. But one can easily avoid by saying no to sugar.

Here are some of the reasons we must aware of in-order to restricts the consumption of sugar :

1-It badly affects muscle protein

Additional intake of sugar may lead to the rise in glucose 6-phosphate (G6P). This is primarily responsible for the change in muscle protein of the heart. This could lead to heart failure as well. Glucose metabolite glucose 6-phosphate (G6P) is responsible for the changes in the muscle protein of the heart. These variations could ultimately lead to heart failure. About half of the people that are diagnosed with heart failure die within five years.

2-Aging of cells

A study conducted in 2009 shows that glucose consumption results in aging of cells & brain as well. Thus, Aging of the cells can be the cause of something as simple as wrinkles to something as dire as the chronic disease. But there is other alarming that sugar may affect the aging of your brain as well.

3- Affects immune system

Sugar may slow down the immune system of the body. As it raises the release of endorphins in the body. Because bad bacteria love to eat sugars, sugar can depress your immune system. It does by fueling the bad bacteria, just as eating yogurt and other fermented foods help feed the “good bacteria” with probiotics.

4-Generates cancer-causing compounds

It may increase the concentration of bile acids in the stool. This can lead to the formation of cancer-causing compounds. This leads to colon cancer.

5-  Decline tissue elasticity

it is said that the regular consumption of sugar might cause a reduction in the tissue elasticity and function. So, the more sugar you eat, the more elasticity and function you lose.

6- Affects muscle force

High consumption of sugar during pregnancy may affect the muscle force production of the fetus. Furthermore, it can badly affect his/her ability to exercise in the growing age. Also, eating the high amount of sugar during pregnancy and lactation can badly influence offspring muscles. As the muscle force production in offspring is affected which can affect an individual’s ability to exercise.

7- Reduces the functionality of blood protein

Regular consumption of sugar may affect the functionality of two blood proteins. This is albumin and lipoproteins. It results in the inability to handle fat and cholesterol by the body. IN addition to that sugar raises advanced glycation end products (AGEs). This form when sugar binds non-enzymatically to protein.

8- It leads to addiction

The studies also show that sugar leads to addiction.It is said that the sweet taste of sugar is more rewarding than the high of cocaine.

As sugar produces dopamine in the brain. It is a happy, feel-good chemical. People get addicted to eating sugar. Due to this, they feel “normal” and they undergo “withdrawal” if they cut sugar from their diets.

it is said that if these people go without sugar for a few days. Then their brain will begin to produce dopamine on its own. Thus the discomfort of the withdrawal process keeps many “sugar addicts” stuck in their addiction.

So sugar seems to be innocent but it is not. It slowly kills us. So please don’t consume it in an excess amount.
