RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday said that his organization is capable to prepare an army to fight for the nation within three days if the situation arises. On the last day of his sixth-day visit to Muzaffarpur, while he was addressing the volunteers of RSS at Jila school ground he claimed the above fact. “Taking volunteers of Sangh, it would get ready in three months, while the Army would require about 6-7 months to prepare its army personnel. This is our capability. Swayamsewak will be ready to take counter on the front if the country faces such a situation and of course Constitution permits to do so),” Bhagwat said.
Sangh is not a military organization, it is just like a “Parivarik Sangathan” where volunteers practices like an army. He also said volunteers are always ready to make supreme sacrifices if the situation arises.
Bhagwat claimed that his volunteers are always ready to provide their services at the time of any disaster in the country. While discussing over previous Indo-China war, that when China attacked India, RSS volunteers stayed on the border until army came and take over the charge. Bhagwat claimed that if China army enters the country, we will not allow them to do so. We will produce extreme resistance. He said that when our volunteers get responsibilities, they always perform it wisely.
Meanwhile, politics stirred up on the statement of RSS chief. Rashtriya Janta Dal spokesperson Mr. Mratyunjay Tiwari, has asked Bhagwat to apologize to the army for his statement. He claims that his statement is the insult of the army and of the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for the country. “It is an insult to our flag because it insults every soldier who ever saluted it. Shame on you Mr. Bhagwat, for disrespecting our martyrs and our Army. #ApologiseRSS,” Gandhi tweeted. Sharma added that nations which have allowed private military organization independent of country’s armed forces faced worst situations and have paid heavy prices for it. He gave examples of Iraq Afghanistan, Somalia, Congo, and Syria. He said India should not allow this type of practices. Rahul Gandhi said that his party and its workers are against his statement and are opposing his statement all over the country.
