Priyanka Chopra: The Brand Ambassador For Harman International – Harman International, a completely owned by a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., announced that actor Priyanka Chopra will be its global brand ambassador. The company, which deals with connected technologies for automotive, consumer and enterprise markets, said that the actor will be the face of the company for JBL and Harman Kardon audio brands. As an ambassador of these brands, Chopra will walk the red carpet at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala Salute to Industry Icons with other dignitaries, as part of this weekend’s Grammy celebration.

The actor, singer, and producer have had her fair share of success with her own music album and has also displayed her singing talent in Bollywood. Harman International will be no stranger to the actor who has been a fan of both Harman Kardon and the JBL brands. Priyanka Chopra was born on 18 July 1982 in Jamshedpur, Bihar (now in Jharkhand), to Ashok and Madhu Chopra, both physicians in the Indian Army. Her father was a Punjabi from Ambala. Her mother, from Jharkhand, is the eldest daughter of Ms. Madhu Jyotsna Akhouri, a former member of Bihar Legislative Assembly, and Dr. Manohar Kishan Akhouri, a former Congress veteran. Chopra has a brother, Siddharth, who is seven years her junior and actresses Parineeti Chopra, Meera Chopra and Mannara Chopra is her cousins.
She is an Indian actress, singer, film producer, philanthropist, and the winner of the Miss World 2000 pageants.
