In a tough message to Pak, army personnel said that from the locations through which the terrorists are infiltrating are on the target of the Indian army.

Statement of Indian army about counterinsurgency operations came in the backdrop of increased tensions between Indian and Pakistan. Indian army recently had gunned down four militants in an encounter. The army was successful in foiling an infiltration bid in Naugam sector at of LoC in Kashmir. The operation started on Saturday that continued for more than a day. Three army officers also reported martyred during those attacks.
The statement of counter-strike came about a day after Army chief Bipin Rawat awarded. Major Leetul Gogoi tied a man to his vehicle in order to avoid causality during a tensioned situation in Srinagar. The man was identified as Ahmad Da who was used as a shield which caused public outrage. However, army and a section of media supported Major Leetul Gogoi for his best possible action that he took to avoid bloodshed.
