It seems that the Facebook will soon be going to lost its user base not only from India but the across the world. This is due to the biggest controversy of the data breach which the facebook is facing today. This social networking site has actually lost the trust its users.

It is found that the social networking giant Facebook has around 20 crore user base in India. Out of which over 5.62 lakh people in the country were “possibly affected”. They are affected by worldwide data breach case that also involves Cambridge Analytica.

The data mining firm has been suspected of gathering personal information of over millions of Facebook users illegitimately. This is to encourage polls in numerous countries during the election.

According to the Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, his business was dedicated to safeguarding honesty of elections all over the world. This includes India as well, as he attested before the US Congress.

Facebook’s data breach scam had also glinted a lot of disturbance in India. Last month the IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad warned the firm. He said that “strict” action would be there. If there is a single effort by Facebook is taken to impact polls by data theft.

He even clearly threatened to call Zuckerberg, if such kind of anything happened.
