A 13 – Seater private jet of Reliance Transport & Travel Ltd. took off for Dubai at 1.30 pm on Sunday. It is expected to return back with her body today. Her last rites will be performed in Mumbai.

Actress Sridevi passed away Saturday night after a major heart attack.  This 54 years old pretty Indian actress was in Dubai, where she went to attend a marriage ceremony.  Death of Sridevi has left a wave of sadness all around.  The news of her passing away was not something that could be easily believed by anyone. She was just 54 and was enjoying joyous moments of her life before this fatal heart attack.  According to the family, she had no any previous history of cardiac disease. The news of her demise left everybody in shock and disbelief.

According to Khaleej Times, the 53-year-old actress fell unconscious in the bathroom of her hotel room, in the Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Dubai at 11 pm and died on her way to the hospital. The report further states that the autopsy on Sridevi’s body was completed and the family is now waiting for the final lab reports before the actress’ mortal remains are taken back to India.

Officials at the Indian Consulate in Dubai informed that Sridevi’s autopsy was conducted Sunday at the Al Qusais Hospital. Her body is expected to be flown to Mumbai on a chartered aircraft Monday morning, and arrangements for her final rites were being finalized late on Sunday night, (according to the sources)

At around 1:15 am Mr. Bachchan twitted about his sense of feeling uneasiness.  Sometimes later news of Shri Devi’s death started moving around.  Twitter was flooded with tweets describing the sorrow and sending a condolence to her family.  Everybody was expressing their sorrow in their words.

She had performed more than 250 films in her life.  She worked in Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films.  She was not a Hindi speaking person even though she left a great impression on Hindi cinemas.  Her first debut was as a child artist in 1969 in Tamil film Thunaivan and first Bollywood debut was in 1978 with film Solva Sawan.
