Yash Raj Films is all set to bring another fresh pairing onscreen with its next project. Titled Sui Dhaga, the film will bring together Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma for the first time. The film directed by Dum Laga Ke Haisha director Sharat Kataria and will be based on government’s Make in India campaign. The film is based on the stories of self-independence and high spirits of the two central characters rooted in an earthy town of India.
Varun and Anushka both looking impressed by the simple yet touching script of the film and are eager to work with each other. While Varun well known for his energetic appeal, boy-next-door image, Anushka is popular for her sensible and strong choices. Sharat Kataria is well known for telling stories that connect with the simple, middle-class families and Sui Dhagha seems to fall into the same category.
While Dum Laga Ke Haisha stayed in the minds of the audience and critics alike because of the fantastic performance by Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar, it will be interesting to see how Varun and Anushka do the story of self-reliance around their star image.
