India has reached the third position in the medal count on Day 9 of 21st Commonwealth Games 2018.  Shooter Anish Bhanwala created the history by becoming the youngest Indian gold medalist.

While Mary Kom, Sanjeev Rajput, and Neeraj Chopra won the gold for India on the Day 10 of 21st Commonwealth Games 2018.

 

 

Medals won by India

For shooters:

India has won a total of 42 medals with 17 Gold, 11 Silver and 14 Bronze till Friday in the gold coast of 21st Commonwealth Games 2018. 15 medals have been won by Indian shooter on Friday which includes six gold, four Silver, and five Bronze.

For Boxing:

India’s boxers Vikas Krishan and Satish Kumar have succeeded in reaching the finals and are expected to win a gold medal for India in the 21st Commonwealth Games 2018. Mary Kom won the gold medal in the women’s 45-48kg boxing event.

In weightlifting:

Satish qualified the 91 kg final which was later stopped after the opponent Seychelles’ Keddy Agnes received a cut on his face during the second round. Now Satish will be opposite to Englishman Frazer Clarke in the finals of the 21st Commonwealth Games 2018.

For Mixed Doubles:

India’s Dipika Pallikal along with Saurav Ghosal and Joshna Chinappa will be playing in the finals of mixed doubles.

The semifinals match will be held on Saturday against English pair of Laura Massaro and Sarah-Jane Perry by Dipika and Joshna.

India’s Ashwini Ponappa and Satwik Rankireddy lost their second game in mixed doubles semifinal by18-21 against England’s Ellis Marcus and Smith Lauren. They will now play for the Bronze medal.

India’s Athlete Neeraj Chopra won the gold medal in 21st Commonwealth games 2018 in Men’s Javelin Throw.

India’s Athlete Neeraj Chopra won the Men’s Javelin Throw Final with a throw of 85.50 in his first attempt.

PV Sindhu entered the final of woman’s single gold match after defeating Canada’s Michelle Li 21-18, where she will face competition with Saina Nehwal.

In men’s singles semifinal HS Prannoy lost the match by 16-21, 21-9, 14-21 against Malaysia’s Lee Chong Wei and will play the match against England’s Rajiv Ouseph for the Bronze medal.
