Many newcomers who are not from Bollywood background have to suffer the mental and physical pain of casting couch in their carrier. Now some celebrities have started confessing about this dark side of Bollywood.

Ranveer Singh is also included in the list of those actors who have been the victims of the casting couch. The actor in one of his interview confessed that he has experienced it first hand and when he refused to do so the suspect cried like a jilted lover. Later he came to know that he did this to everyone. According to him, casting couch is a real thing.
Ayushmann Khurana recently expressed his experience over casting couch. He said that he has been to this in his starting days of the carrier. As he was the TV anchor so one of the casting directors directly ask him to do this. But he refused to do so by saying that “I’m a straight man”.
According to him if you have the potential and belief in your acting skills you don’t need to give it much attention.
Madhur Bhandarkar who was blamed by Preeti Jain for casting couch also shares his experience over it. He says that casting couch is not only in the film industry but also in various other fields. According to him, everybody here in the industry is adult and nothing happens without their consent.
Kangana Ranaut who is famous for her bold behaviour also shares her experience with it. She says that she never experienced casting couch in her carrier. According to her, those people are dumb who believe that they’ll get a role for sleeping and she is not that dumb not even at the age of 17 when she started her Bollywood carrier.
She further says that if the casting couch route could get them easy access to films then all the prostitutes would have been superstars today.
Ram Gopal Varma
Ram Gopal Varma who is linked with many of the actresses has also shared his views over casting couch. He says that “Casting exists, so does the couch! One hate to admit this fact but it is true”.
Tisca Chopra who has done many Bollywood movies also shared her views over casting couch. According to her “it’s a question of supply and demand”, where the supply of actresses is exceeding the demand for it. She further said that she was also the victim of it but somehow managed to run out of the situation and never put her dignity down.
Kalki Koechlin who has been the victim of rape also shared her experience on it. She said that she was also the victim of it but she managed to slip through it. She said that yes the thing like casting couch does exist in the industry. One should be smart enough to slip out of the situation the moment they feel uncomfortable. Further, she rejected all the offers which claim for it.
Surveen Chawla who entered Bollywood with the film Hate Story 2 in 2014 also shared her views on it. She said that she has also been the victim of casting couch in the southern film industry but she never gave up and continued her hard work.
Rakhi Sawant who is also known as the item girl of Bollywood shared her views on it. She said that earlier only girls used to face the casting couch but now men are also facing it in this kalyug.
Maushmi Udeshi who has been on the cover page of various magazines also share her views regarding this. She says that “Unless one is born with a silver spoon in his/her mouth or belong to one of those powerful star families which have a great influence on Bollywood, people tend to take you for granted”.
Sameera Ready who has worked in many of the Bollywood films shares her experience over casting couch. She says that “it takes two hands to clap and nobody is a victim rather we are all just players”.
Priyanshu Chatterjee, the famous Tum bin actor also shares his experience over it. He said that he was also asked for the favour of casting couch to get the film but he refused to do so. And he was correct for his decision as the film was never made.
Mamta Kulkarni who is the former Indian actress and model also shared her views on it. She once blamed Rajkumar Santoshi for asking her the favour of casting couch during the shoot of film China Gate.
Suchitra Krishnamurthy who became popular with her role in film Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa also shares her experience over it. She said that some of the incidents of casting couch are never highlighted because of the lack of evidence.

She once blamed movie director Dibaker Banerjee for asking her the pleasure of casting couch in order to act in his film which she refused to do.
